I am looking for a top notch ditial photo album and editing software. I have used Picasa in the past and don't really like it --- are there any others out there that you would recommend?

best for editing would be Photoshop CS2....
then theres GIMP which is free but not as good....
i dont know about photo album though

look into "Photoshop Elements 5.0"

adobe is always a good way to go.

You would have to define 'best'. Do you want the most powerful (Photoshop), the esiest to use (JASC), the cheapest (MS Photo Editor - included in many MS apps), etc. ?
