he says all this stuff about really liking me, that he doesnt want me to be with any other guys and is always really affectionate when im with him- kissing on the forehead, holding hands and hugging me, but he only calls every couple of weeks, and we never go anywhere where its just the 2 of us, just me and him and his friends. So whats goin on??

well i dont think its his dad cos he's in his 20s lol, so am i by the way . It does sound like a prob that teenagers would have alright tho haha, i thought these things got easier as you grow older

Why don't you ask him? Sounds like he either: 1.) thinks you're a really great friend and is being just a little friendly-flirty with you, or 2.) likes you a lot as more than a friend but is kind of shy and doesn't know how to approach you with that or is possibly afraid to risk acting too serious about it, or 3.) thinks you're cute but is also keeping himself open for other options. The only way you'll know is if you ask HIM.

CONTROL FREAK loud an clear! What do you want is the question? If you arent happy g/friend in the long run its not going to work stick down a few guidelines for him an let him do the work to keep you. Contact every couple of weeks???...does it pop into your mind you go no where together because he has a life? It sure would be in mine and it sure is about time you lived yours an best luck for the future.

Hmmm.. i don't see what is wrong with this. well, calling you every couple weeks might be a little weird. First find about what he does in his calendar he might have a busy schedule and under stress with a lot stuff to do. And as far his friends goes, he likes his friends and he wants to you to be part of them. I think that is a good start for you cause most guys would not let you involve with their friends.

Simple, he's keeping you on a string, the rest of the time he's dating other girls.
It's called a drag line. Get off your butt and go look, he's out with all the rest of the girls when he's not with you, so start dating other guys, when he calls, just say your not sitting at home waiting on him to never take you anywhere.

Baby,wake up!!! somethings going on. i don't want to say he is cheating, because thats not for me to say when i don't know, but you do need to ask before you get hurt. and that not a good feel'n. So just ask him why he only calls every couple of week and why you don't go anywhere. is there something he's not tell you.since he loves you so.

There something he's not telling you!! he could have another girl are wife some where, and just maybe he's tell you all of this to keep you away from other guys. men love to have cake and ice cream to. don't you think that if you were the only one that he would won't to spend all the time he can with you? the friends comes alone just to get him out of the house. and if someone did see him they can't tell who the girls with. think about it!!!!

He is stringing you along. This will never turn into what you want it to be. He wants you - but not in an exclusive way and only when it suits him (only you are not allowed to see other people).

Talk to him Ash1. He doesn't know what you want until you tell him. Maybe his Dad won't let him hang on the phone for hours talking with you. You need to talk to him and see where he's coming from.
