i get alot of attention from both sexes just for being tall, plus i hear that being tall gives you many advantages in the work place also, what do you think?

There was a survey?? that found many of the top excutives were average height or less. there were a number of cartoon depicting the boss short bald plump surrounded by tall athletic types. There is no set rules, though in some companies esp. construction the taller men tend to rise to the upper levels.

The only advantage being tall at work gives you is you're the first one to see the boss coming so you can pretend to be busier than the rest. Other than that? I don't see any advantage.
Hilter was a VERY short man, and unfortunately, he was also very successful at what he did.
By the way, I get alot of comments on being short and I have been pretty successful in most of my jobs...relationships? Now, that's another story! :)

There is no doubt on that! i have a tall black friend who is very corny when it comes to conversation with girls and he still somehow pull them off without a sweat and he is not the only one. Almost all tall people i met always have authority which somehow some women think they can provide them a better security. The other factor is specially in the military tall guys are always used to b drill sergeant or instructor so they yell at you with confidence. unfortunately, prejudice exist there too.

The exception to the rule is actors. Most all top male actors are short, don't know why but they all are.

Unfortunately, this is true! Studies have shown that tall men are more successful, given the same qualifications, taken more seriously, are chosen over shorter men in hiring, and get the prettier girls ( both tall and short).

absolutely, tall guys have a distinct advantage compared to short guys. They are more successful, and usually have more friends of the oppisite sex.

well my boyfriend is 6"5' and he works at an abotuor, doing loadout, but he did work at woolies as a checkout operator, he can do just about anything though

no, they are noticeable more than a short, because of there height. but those short one can get the job done to, sometime better.
