i hope someone can answer this before 10/13. that's my homecoming day, and and i have to dress up as the oppenent, trojan, so i need, if not household products that work the same, brands that have better strength and dry faster.

OH, in the 80s some people used Knox gelatin or egg whites to hold their Mohawks.

There was a hair gel used in the movie, There's Something About Mary. Sorry, that was icky. Bad joke.

I'm not really that sure... but the point I want to pose is that if u don't use products that are meant for hair, it will probably damage ur hair a lot. Plus, it's pretty easy to buy a mini bottle of hairspray from Walgreens for only a few bucks.

Regular white glue. The same stuff you used in school works great, or I have heard of egg whites, but it takes awhile to dry. If you use a blow dryer your "set"

why a household product ?
i guess you could use real glue, judt dont use super glue.
If you want really powerful waterproof hair glue try spiker® water-resistant styling glue. It comes in a blue bottle. Very powerful

use corn syrup.I used that on my hair 2 days ago and it works better than any hairspray,gel or hair glue

Limon juice! squirt it in a small bottle or something like that and before you curl or blowdry, put limon juice until your hair is moist then you style. hope this works for you!
