Once again, it is the Cherokee. Take a look at the locations of various tribes in the United States.

There is no major tribe...and there never has been. The Native Americans counted over 700 different nations at various points in history. White men, out of ignorance and the need for simplification, began lumping many of the nations together under one name. The Sioux nation for example is made up of many different tribes, with the only common thread among them being their location.

The largest tribe in raw numbers is the Navajo Nation with about 250,000 members. Second, third, & fourth would have to be the Sioux, the Chippewa, and the Cherokee altho I'm not sure in which order.

would probally be the bigh 3 of the Indian Nations. and each nation had several smaller tribes .

I'm not sure there is a THE, there are some Nations that have a larger number enrolled, and some that have a better hold of their language and culture still...I'm not sure any one could be the top specifically.

there are none, they just sit around collecting welfare, shooting heroine and a few that are not completely fuked are running casinos......its sad....way worse than blacks when it really comes down to it
