Do people get married for the wrong reasons?

Maybe so or maybe they think they know them and one day wake up and realize they dont..it happens..there is alot of divorces now days..and you really get to know the person when you live with them..things really start to come out and they start to show who they are

I have no idea what you are talking about. I mostly hear men say that once they are married and the wife has the wallet...she is the one who becomes a frigid zombie.
It's sad. I have a phenomenal marriage and sex life. I couldn't ask for better. Maybe that's because my hubby and I each try to give more than we take. We also think of ourselves as the two halves of a pair of scissors....we often move in different directions, but we punish anything that comes between us. Works for us.

duh! now days people get married because they think it will be more acceptable to rasie a kid while they are married not thinking that the kid is gonna suffer more damage watching mom an dad yell at each other all day. an they think since they laughed alot and had great sex for 2 months they can tie the knot an be in bliss the rest of their lives.. WRONG i made the mistake of moving in with my boyfriend of 1 year and we have only lived together for 8 months and im going crazy i cant stand him anymore but when i first got with him i was in such awww i probably would of done something as stupid as marrying the guy and giving up my great last name;) thank god i didnt... anyhow i think people jump into things to fast and think that the feeling of lust will last forever

Maybe because those men were zombies BEFORE they got married?Then again,who really knows a guy's mind anyway,one day it's this,another day it's that.My advice:Just live your life anyway,don't be sidetracked by what they say.Their' just children in an adult mask.

Men are less relational than ladies in general. We tend to be goals & activities orientated. Like you said "conquered" most just grow complacent.
