Broadband Internet access? There are 5 major types. DSL (my pick) Cable (popular, but it's flaw is exactly that) Sattelite (no, don't!) T1 highspeed forsmall biusinesses T2-T3 is for large businesses.
DSL is inexpensive and reliable. Your own dedicated line, an advantage over Cable. ($12-$34.)
Cable is the most popular High speed internet access. It's flaw is just that, it's so popular. There is one cable connection to your whole neighborhood. If your neighbor starts eating bandwidth, and all your other neighbors get on and start to download a lot, theres no more bandwidth.
($30-$60)
Sattelite. Your last resort if Cable and DSL arent availible. Expensove, slow and goes out VERY easy. Not reccomenede except as a LAST RESORT!
Wireless internet can be in your house with an inexpensive router ($20-$70)

Broadband is DSL and Cable. These are much faster than a dial up connection. No you can not create your own without lots and lots of $.
Taking your computer wireless with a broadband connection is possible with $ for the connection and $ for the wireless modem and router.
I am not satisfied that cyber security has yet reached a point where I would feel safe wireless.
It is every individual's call.
Right now, some Cable Companies are offering an introductory rate for phone, tv, and computer. $99. a month. But the introductory rate will run out, and I know it isn't cheap. I have had Cable for years.
I grumble regularly about the cost, I have long since stopped grumbling about being knocked offline constantly, and it is so much faster.
I havent done comparisons, but you could check with online PC publications like PCMag.com or TechRepublic.com.

Broadband is a form of internet access which is generally "always on" and allows the use of a telephone while still being connected to the net. Its also a hell of a lot faster than dial-up.
Unless you have your own telecommunications company, you dont "create" broadband. You sign up with an ISP which allows you to access broadband from your home. Wired broadband only requires a modem, and wireless requires a wireless router.
As for price, I dont know what country you are in, so I cant help you there.

broadband is high speed internet (DSL, cable, T1, etc)...faster than dial-up
you can have a wired or wireless network...that's up to you. And advantage of wireless is that you can have say a laptop and move from room to room without having to deal with any cables (because it's, well, wireless)

Could you be more specific on what is that you want to do about broadband, as in do you want to set up a company that provides access etc.,

it is highspeed internet access. NOT DIAL-UP. You can order it from your telophone company (DSL) or your cable company (cable). Ask them the rest of the questions.
