A guy that I have a crush on, (who also happens to be a friend) asked me to come watch a movie last night with him. A couple of days before that he asked me to invite my friend over too. I thought he had a thing for her. Then she couldn't make it and I told him and he was ok with it. Later on he told me that if I wanted I could invite any friend. Like did he have a problem just being the two of us or what?

Seems he doesn't have an idea that you have a crush on him, so by asking you invite your friends over with you to make you feel safer. Why don't you tell him that you prefer to be alone with him?

Maybe he likes you too but is afraid that a relationship between the two of you could end your friendship completely if things don't work out. Having a friend around the two of you at all times is his way out of confronting his own feelings and fears. I would seriously think about your friendship and if it is worth risking taking the next step. If you feel that strongly about it and you don't think that you can resist then give it a shot. Good luck!

This is my sister's account btw. Im a guy and lemme tell you. All men are dogs. Some are just doggier than others. The only reason the guy wants you to invite another freind is so that he can have a threesome.

He may think that you might not be as interested. I know that I've done this and it makes it a more easy-going atmosphere when it's a group. It's less awkward and easier to socialize if you guys don't know eachother that well.

Maybe he just doesn't want any rumors started. Maybe he's on the shy side and is hoping for some help in the conversation. Maybe you should ask him.

Share your feelings with him. Tell him. He should know. Life is much too short to loose precious time. Why not enjoin your mutual love for each other. No regrets.

may be he is thinking from ur point that u might take him wrong and may refuse to come alone to his house and i think he thinks that u r comfortable if ur friend is accomaonying u that is why he is telling u like this.
so better be open to him and tell him that if he likes having u over alone at his home.

He probably just felt more comfortable with another person around.

Sounds like he doesn't want to be alone with just you.
