If you have a lot in common with a 16yr old, then yes, it is a bit weird. Maybe you need to mature a bit yourself and don't hang out with the younger group. You really shouldn't have anything to talk about with her. You may be physically attracted but that is what will get you into trouble.

Think about it ,it´s so common that they even had to pass a law against it. I´ts not weird Rob, anyone can like a healthy good looking 16 year old girl or boy (in a women's case). If someone tells you the opposite ,they are lying to you or worst they are lying to themselves. Some people would deny it just to feel honorable.
The reality is, that because its the law you absolutely do not have to get involved with a minor. Anyway there are allot of good looking women over 18. So why get in trouble.

I think it's weird, but come on they're just a teenager .
Just don't hit on her, trust me it's REALLY WEIRD, I know cause I'm a teenager & I had a 19 to 20 year old guy hitting on me & I was kinda scaried, that same day another older guy looked at me in that way, yeah WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!
& to the people that say wait until she's 18, come on. To me you are still a teen, I think people should wait until they're 21 the same age at which drinking is legal.

is it weird? what do you think... do you honestly need an answer to this question... Weird, its disgusting is what it is!! When that 16 year old is passed the age of 18 years then he or she is able to do what they wish untill then HANDS OFF!!

It's not wierd, it is natural TO LIKE someone younger than yourself. People with BIG age gaps have married. Liking is one thing but taking the friendship further is another thing. Check yourself before you do anything. Statutory rape isn't funny.
