That's where mine first started. I have them everywhere in my body. That took a few years to happen though. I'm going through the same thing but that seemed to have lead to many other issues. I feel for you, really. If you find out, Please email me and I will do the same, Hugs.

so far, I certainly have heard that calcium supplementations are meant to assist, eating water, and of direction, muscle relaxers. because of the fact I certainly have fibromyalgia, I certainly have them ordinary for a year or 2, then none for approximately that long, however to it back. i take advantage of muscle relaxers at evening, so as that they gained't wake me up for the duration of the evening. yet contained in the morning they start back up after the meds have worn off. it truly is in easy terms one or 2, so i do no longer use the meds for the duration of the day, yet as quickly as I initiate having extra, i will use them then, too. you would be able to evaluate asking your physician in the event that they're proper for you.

This is going to sound crazy but I used to get awful nightime leg cramps and someone told me to grab my whole upper lip and apply firm pressure until the cramp subsides. And it does work. Grab it with your thumb and forefinger right in the middle of your lip. Good luck.

The only way I know is to seriously hydrate. Lack of water can cause bad leg cramps (as well as foot cramps for me).

Wow that sounds terrible. I have no experience with it but calcium is supposed to help them. Drink ginger tea, it is a natural antispasmodic.
