You don't say how long you've known this or whether anything has happened between you & your ex etc! It's not a bad thing, it's unfortunate that you've wasted 2 yrs of your life & your current girlfriends life. You need to end it but don't tell her about your ex, it will destroy her knowing that in all this time you;ve wanted to be with your ex!

If you dont love her then let her go. Its that simple. There's no two ways of looking at it. I guessing you have tried too right? Well, then can you honestly say you dont love your gf how would it make you feel to see her with another guy happy? how would it make you feel if she said she didnt love you? ask yourself these questions before you do something stupid. Far as your ex im sure she aint thinking of you. Its sad to think you are still in love with someone who doesnt love you but my advice is this: if you know that you are 100 % not in love with your GF but do still love your ex then let the GF go cause frankly all you are going to do is hurt her and then she will hurt the next guy because of you its like a chain reaction

The heart wants what the heart wants - if you still love your ex - you cant help your feelings - you have to be honest with your girlfriend thought - it is not a good idea to have someone believe that you love them when you are thinking of someone else. Maybe you should try and forget your ex if there is no chance of you getting back together - otherwise you will compair everyone to her

The bad part is that you're living a lie. Loving someone isn't bad in and of itself. It's the fact that you are in a relationship with someone you DON"T love who probably REALLY loves you. That is WRONG. Stop being a chickensh*t. Be a man, stop playing around with your girlfriend's emotions. And, don't whine about how you don't want to hurt her. You already have and you already are....she just probably doesn't realize it yet.

Think to yourself. Would you love your girlfriend if you didn't love your ex? If so, then get over your ex and make the best of your relationship. If not, then finish with your girlfriend instead of living a lie.

it's not a bad thing, you cant control your feelings and force yourself to love her...but it is a bad thing that you are still with her, which means you are lying to her and deceiving her...tell her the truth...your ex maybe also ought to know the truth, then two of you could get back together..
