I'm a 27, 6'0", about 140 lbs on a Good day. And I can Not gain & maintain weight. I've tried Everything. The Extreme Laziness effect, the Junk Diet, even paying $40 for a jug of Mommoth 2000 protein powder. (Which does work, if you drink the crap Constanty) I eat mainly good food, the occasional McDonalds burgers and fries. But nothing sticks. How oh How do I slow down my metabolism?

You're not wanting to decrease your metabolism so much as gain weight. If that's the real question then the answer is creatine. That will help build muscle mass. (weight) But to answer the question. Age will do it quite nicely. Also lose muscle mass because muscles burn more fat. Which gives you more energy, which makes you active, which builds more muscle. Thus the whole cycle.

Are your parents small or on the chunky side? You will probably look like one of them when you're older. If they are a little chunky then more than likely you will be too.

Sometimes lifting weights helps you to look bigger...maybe you could try that. As to answer the "slower metabloism" question all I can say is just wait until you hit about 45....then you'll be wanting to speed it up again....LOL

Forget it. Nothing will slow it down, except perhaps age.

Till then, don't worry about it. Eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Other people spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours trying to lose weight, when they're not starving themselves.
