Let me get to my points. If u r a christian do u believe in alien life. If not why....cuz why r there other galaxys. Is incest a sin cuz noah and every animal on the ark was incest. What was goliath, he was a race of giant men who was 9ft tall and inpregnaed women and disappeared.And when were the dinos actually on earth. No preacher has answered these questions and they always tell me u have to just have faith.. but thats what terreiosts and cult leaders say to there followers.

Good questions...

First of all, there certainly could be other lifeforms on other planets... there might even be entire civilizations that worship Jesus from the time he visited them... the bible doesn't say we're the only people in the galaxy.

Second, Noah brought his 3 sons and their wives on the boat with them. So their kids would have been cousins, which would have been 'sorta' incest. But while god promised that his people (the Israelites) would fill the land and populate like the sands of the sea, he never said he wouldn't add people elsewhere. They weren't his chosen people, but he had to add people nonetheless. There is no way the world could have become so populated, and so spread out, in only a couple thousand years. While the bible certainly doesn't say God DID this, it doesn't say that He didn't either.

Goliath was simply a huge man, listed at over six cubits tall. That means around nine feet tall. Not exactly Paul Bunyon. Goliath came from a tribe of giants, so its not like he was super unusual.

Dinosaurs are indeed difficult to explain. But one thing is sure... no man was around during the 6 'days' it took to create the world. Considering the number of translations we've gone through (God's word to Moses, Moses writing it down in some ancient language, the word finally being recorded in Hebrew in the earliest of bibles, and finally the Hebrew being translated into English), it is very likely that the way we think of a 'day' now has no correlation to what God considered a day during creation. Since he was in control of the whole picture, why wouldn't he go ahead and run a 50 million year cycle during that last 'day' just to make the world look like it had been around for more than 24 hours. Considering that God could do it however he'd want, it is not unlikely that he did some fast-tracked evolution. In support of this theory, God has often done things throughout the scriptures that tested man's faith against logic. It has long been his way of testing us. Creating a world that appears to be 100 million years old makes us rely on faith. Can you imagine if scientists discovered in 1907 that the world was really 6000 years old, and it could be proven that it was created in 6 days? It would take no faith to beleive in God then, would it... that would defeat the whole purpose of faith.

Terrorists and cult leaders have philosophies that are 100% different from preachers/ministers. To compare them isn't even logical. Teachers of God say, "Believe these things not because I say so, but because the Bible says so. If you don't want to listen to me, then open your heart to hear God speaking to you. In faith there is peace". Terrorists don't want you to have peace. Cult leaders don't want you to read or understand the scriptures. No extremest cult out there sticks with the scriptures... thay always twist the words, or say that they have been given a message directly by God (which Revalations clearly says will not happen again until Jesus comes back). Cult leaders are often found to be mentally unstable (go figure) and terrorists are typically filled with hatred. Not exactly on the same level as you typical minister.

Why are there other galaxies? --- God commanded people to be fruitful and multiply. We can populate the other galaxies within the next century as our technology develops.

Is incest a sin because Noah and every animal on the ark was commiting incest? --- Noah brough his wife, his three sons and their wives. It is not incest for a man to have sex with his wife. It is not incest for animals to have sex. In some cases there were more than two animals of a species brought on the ark. Incest is a sin for humans.

What was Goliath? he was a race of giant men who were 9 ft. tall and impregnated women and disappeared. --- Goliath was a Philistine. David killed him with a stone in a slingshot. Nephilim are the giants who knew the daughters of men.

When were the dinosaurs actually on the earth? --- It depends on which dinosaurs you are talking about. According to science, they roamed the earth long before mankind.

When a person says to you that you must have faith, believe and follow the leader, then you should question whether that leader is false. A true leader will urge you to study the scriptures or philosophy of the group.

I am a christian.. I believe that because the universe is so vast, there is a chance that a piece of rock is close enough (or far enough away) from a star that it may be able to sustain life.. or "aliens" as you so eloquently put it. If there were aliens, it wouldn't go against anything in the Bible... and incest was necessary with Noah and his family.. but when God said that it was no longer OK, then it is no longer OK. It was probably no longer OK because the only reason that it was ever OK what completely out of necessity. And, yes, Goliath was a giant... and the women that the giants impregnated were obviously not that tall, so over time, the height was lost... and it can come around again if we actually bred humans that way... but that would be inhuman. Actually, during the time before the Civil War in America, slave owners used to breed their larger black males with their larger black females to produce larger children... if they had continued, there very well could be 9 foot people around today... but like I said, it is inhuman. And about dinosaurs... creatures that may match their description were mentioned in the Bible.. we have no way of knowing if they were actually talking about what we would call dinosaurs or not... but it is a major possibility... so, any more questions?

I don'' believe in aliens. But the Bible said we are aliens just passing through. Incest is a sin, but Noah had his wife on the ark with him. Also his 3 sons with their wives. There was no incest there. The animals didn't have any children until they got off the ark. Goliath was a giant here on earth, and there were others, but they were destroyed. The dino's were here before the flood. God destroyed them because when Noah got off the ark then God put fear into animals and into man against each other. Before the flood there was no fear in all the animals or man. They walked together. Religion sends people to hell, but a personnel relationship with Jesus Christ will get you to heaven.

Incest, at first, was not sinful because that was the only way Adam's posterity could get started. Once sufficiently started, marriage with relatives were forbidden.

There were a race of giants as recorded in the Bible. Whether they impregnated normal women and vanished is left to speculation.

Dinosaurs existed first spiritually and then physically. Adam named each animal species. (Read Genesis). With evidence of their existence, dinosaurs once lived on earth in their own territories.

Yes I believe in "alien life". Several types have indisputably visited us on earth. There was a time when people who had seen and heard and knew were forbidden to talk about it, under penalty. But that time is over. There is no such reason to suppress knowledge of the matter. In fact there has been, right on the internet, and several years ago at that material on this subject including descriptions, pictures, even interviews with other intelligent forms of life. Your being of a certain religion has nothing todo with the matter. These creatures are here to see and no religion is barred from observing. From time to time check out the history channel. There has been some pretty interesting material there from time to time.

In my early Christian days, I had no problem with the idea that there might be alien life, and that Genesis was mythical. Not all Christians believe the Bible to be inerrant and completely literal.

Many of the stories were not originally intended as history lessons, but were instead simply trying to make a point, and used a story to do it.

No. There are THOUSANDS of satelites orbiting the Earth at all different orbits today, from about 10 different countries, i think. I SERIOUSLY doubt that a UFO with an Alien, could get through that mess UNdetected.
