Obviously women think this stuff through too much. You see how much women go for the guys who are more aloof. They never seem to go for the nice guys. Well, if you call her after two or three days, it gives her time to think about it.

So you don't look like a desperate loser.
You don't want her to think that you might be some crazy stalker with no life, and scare her away.
It doesn't have to be two days. Just don't call as soon as you get home, and for crying out loud, don't leave half a dozen messages on her voice mail.

2 days.. nop... Depends totally on girl.. if she's totally into you.. call her a week later... heck may be month might even work better.. She wont' forgive you...
If she's not into you.. forget 2 days.. no number her matters. there is no set rule for calling a girl.
The basic idea is that you don't look like 23th needy loser she met this week. right...

dont wait 2 days man lol go for gold NOW!!!! the girl you prob want to call is prob waiting by the ph lol just go for it, it takes a real man to ph first lol i bet she will be glad that you ph her, go on do it, by two days the girl you want to ph would prob think that you dont like her and give up, lol GO FOR GOLD :)

at least 2 day , cause if you call right away , you seem : needy , phatetic , and very rushy
so you need at least wait 2 day ( i perfer 3 ) so you make her waiting for you call & you get point of it !
