It sounds as if you have had headaches before. If it's in a different part of your head, think back to anything different you've eaten or done that may have caused it. You may have bumped your head and not thought anything of it. You may have slept in an odd position and cramped some muscles in that part of your head. Do have a new or different source of stress or anxiety in your life? That may be causing it as well.
I have lots of different types of headaches, in different parts of my head, caused by different things. I've learned to identify what cause each kind and how to treat each kind.
Another thing that I learned is that when I thought I could deal with stress (thereby not have anymore tension headaches), my body brought the stress out in other ways, like upset stomach.

yes, you can have headaches anywhere on your head....usually if they're in the front they are from sinus problems....if they're in the back it's from tension. Sometimes migraines hurt in the back and down your neck and shoulders....but so does the tension. My head has been hurting for 2 days now....I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital last night but it's a little better tonight...at least I can see!
I hope you feel better real soon. If you think it may be from tension try Excedrin for Tension Headaches...that stuff works pretty good.

Yes that is normal. I usually get sinsus headaches they hurt around your nose and under your eyes. Stress and tension headaches hurt your temples. The location of the pain depends on the cause.

Yes it is normal for a headache to hurt different parts fo your head. This is caused from how much blood is pulsating in that specific area(the area that is hurting).

different parts mean different things...the front and temples are related to sinus pressure
the back is stress, like from hunnchin your shoulder sup from worrying or stress
you have sets of muscles around your skull, like whiplash,,if you injure one part of your head it can effect other parts
