the most important thing is don't overfill with the oil !!! A hint is you take turkey in deep frying and add water to cover turkey and mark it that's where your oil line should be. Make sure turkey is totally dry before adding to oil !!!! the rest is basic make a seasoning rub and fry till done about 15 min per pound approx. enjoy its wonderful

Turkey should be roasted in an oven. Deep fry will brown the outside but will not completely cook the bird.

Rub the turkey down with a cajun spice such as old bay or Tony's then deep fry using peanut oil in a deep fryer. 15 minutes for every pound! YUMMY!

Send it to someone who knows what they ate doing. Who wants to pay 50 bucks for a fryer, 25 bucks for oil, 22 bucks for a bottle of gas and 9 bucks for a turkey when you can take the 9 buck turkey to a BBQ place in most areas and have them fry it for about 10 bucks. And it don't blow up in your face!

I hope u have a turkey deep fryer (sold at Bass pro or Wal-Mart) it comes with instructions on how to.... also know that the outside skin of the bird will usually be very dark, almost black before it gets done. it's okay though the inside is still delicious! have fun eating that turkey! yum

frying it in oil will take an quite longer time then roasting it.. this is extra sturdy to observe the temperature cuz oil could unpredictable. why do no longer you are attempting this? roast it in the oven first. then ten minutes till now this is performed, take it out and fry it in the peanut oil for the crisp and style you like.
