My guy and I were discussing things we liked, and after already discussing our wedding theme, we came up with a *possible* rockabilly theme. It's not a for sure because we need to see if we can come up with some really good ideas first. We already decided that well have the traditional wedding ceremony w/ the dress, veil, tuxes, and bm dresses all being classic wedding. But then when we got to the reception wed have all the girls get into the 50s rockabilly style dresses maybe a pencil skirt style who knows, and have all the guys get in the bowling-esq type shirts with the black and white shoes. we figured we could go with black and pink for the colors. we just couldnt think of anything else to go with it. anyone have ideas for favors, centerpieces, invitations ect?

oops, nope we decided that IF we go with this, then any extras will be on us. they will just have to do the normal wedding expense of their dress or whatever

This is SO funny! My fiance and I are planning on doing the same exact thing! Only, a little more PSYCHO-billy, than rockabilly. But we wanted the traditional ceremony and then have everyone change for the reception too!!
My sister said that she would be pissed to have to change her dress and buy a new one for the reception, and all I had to say to her was that she was a monster for HER wedding and I was gonna do what I wanted! Don't worry about what others think, and if you have all the things to do a rockabilly reception, then go all the way with it and have FUN! I was thinking little Bettie wigs for my bridesmaids, and polka dot dresses. have fun! It's YOUR wedding! They have pink and black invitations with vintage looks on line. They're not hard to find. You can have a fun and chic wedding at the same time... Go to a thrift store and look for a vintage modern bride catalog, or a book/magazine on vintage weddings. and check out daddyos.com for dresses and shirts for men. My sister made a CD of all the songs played at her wedding as a wedding favor... that would be a fun thing to do.
you could like lat a record album down in the center of the table, and set a vase of flowers in the center of the record as a centerpiece. Lots of tool and lights. When is your wedding?

If thats a theme you really want, just take your idea and dress it up for the ceremony, maybe with period (50's) tux's and dresses.....Put on the invites what the theme is, and ask everyone to please dress as best they can to the theme, that way everyone is included and it makes things more realistic. You can do the classic wedding, just maybe try a period wedding dress, ties things together nicely. GL;)

Get desk bound journals with a symbol imprinted on the entrance. The emblem being a duplicate of your tattoo. A print retailer may have it performed for you. Decorate pewter buckets published with the tattoos at the external and fill with nation plant life for desk accents. Decorate with raffia bows and feature your tattoos performed in wrought iron paintings for a truly exhibit stealer! Good Luck!

this sounds WAY too complicated. Are the people in yur wedding party going to be required to buy these costumes in addition to the regular wedding gear? I bet they will be pissed.
