theres bread in the freezer and the expiration date is sept 12..... and its now oct 4..... can i still eat it...

Sure. The expiration date only applies to its shelf life on the shelf.. Frozen bread can be kept for about half a year, max!!

I think the real question is, how do you eat it?
I would recommend using it as the base for french toast. I imagine that frozen bread would not have the same resilience as fresh bread, so you might as well do something unusual with it, and not just turn it into part of a sandwich. Another thing you could try is grilled cheese, because with all that butter and cheese, who cares what the consistency of the bread is like?

Sure, bread keeps for months in the freezer. It is safe to eat. The texture and flavor might not be as great, but edible. If you toast it, you won't notice much difference.

Yes you will be fine if you choose to eat the bread. As long as it's been frozen it should be preserved.

sure mold hasn't had opportunity to grow I freeze loaves of bread all the time

totally eat it man enjoy, have some veggies from dented cans too, you will be saving oxegen for the rest of us

since it was in the freezer .. you can eat it.
might have freezer burn but that is not toxic.
