im 13, and this is what i've been doing to help me lose some weight, but i dont see any difference, i REALLY need to lose the weight in time though, its really important, o what i have been doing is only drinking water, and trying not to eat alot at all, i run every day kinda, remeber im only 13, n i need guidance, so how many calories should i have a day, what should i eat, when should i eat, how long should i run? THANK YOU S0o0o0 much!

wait wait wait, i made a mistake, where it said i try not to eat at all, i meant i try not to eat that much, like not over doing it, trust me im not anorexic, lol

alright dog. im 13 too. so what you do is eat 6 small meals a day and run for like 20-30 min. You should'nt eat anything b4 u sleep. make your lst snack at like 7. keep dis up for 2 weeks and you'll be fine.

P.S. when u check your weight do it in the mirror... you might gain muscle and it weighs more thn fat... keep that in mind.

You know there's so much details that is missing from this question. Like
What is your current Weight
What is your current Height?
How much is your Waist?
How do you know you need to lose 10 pounds(lets forget the time frame of 3 weeks)?
What kind of Physical activities You indulge in?
How long(time frame)?
What is your family's physical/Health background?

and so much more...

You need guidance... like you said... So lemme give you best advice. Consult a nutritionist. It'll help you a long way. Not only your nutritionist can help you find out what kind of food you need, he/she will also help you with other things.

Anyways On basics of eating. Here is a very simple guide.
1. Always Inlcude Veg and Fruits in your daily menu.
2. Always have 5 different colors of food in your plate(well that doesn't include pizza which almost have 5 colors on it).
3. Avoid too oily, fizzy(sodas), spicy food.
4. You should have protien, carbs, fats and minerals in your regular food.

Here is your basic guide on Exercise.
1. Sprint on tracks(avoid roads, it can lead to injuries). Sprints are better than jogging, walking etc etc.
2. Sprint in intervals.. like Sprint as fast as you can for 10 seconds then rest next 10-15 seconds and do it like 10-15 times.
3. Rest 2 days a week.
4. Change your exercise methods... you just can't go on sprinting forever. Look into bodyweight calistenics, aquarobics, aerobics, and other ways.

I just gave you fast basics... teaching all what you want to know will take loads of time and effort. So thats why I said consult a physcian or nutritionist.

I know you are looking for help, and understand that this is imprtant to you, but you really should talk to a parent that can tak eyou to talk to your doctor about how uncomfortable you feel with your body! In the mean time, please do not even consider diet pills!!!! Try to eat mosty whole grains, like wheat bread instead of white, fruits and veggies instead of a ho-ho or candy, and most of all 8 glasses of water a day! Good Luck, please talk to your mom/dad, if this is that important to you they will undertsnd, and b proud of you for wanting to keep yourself healthy!

There are trackers to show you how many calories you have eaten and how many you have burned through exercise.
