Actually people, it is not "her" body (a womans I mean), it is GODS. He made us and he is just loaning us these bodies. It is not our right to do anything to them, that he doesn't aprove of.

And whether you pro-abortion people agree or not, he doesn't approve of it. But from my experience, you pro-abortion people usually are not Christians anyways, so I doubt you care whether God condones it or not.

A babies heart begins beating 10 days after conception. So you tell me it is not murder to intentionally stop that heart from beating? Go ahead justify your sick beliefs.

This woman and all those others who spread the gorry and murderous truth about abortion will be rewarded in Heaven for what they are doing.

I personally think any woman who has an abortion should have to have an automatic hysterectomy, right then and there, so they will never be able to murder another innocent unborn baby again.

Go ahead all you pro abortion people and give me your thumbs downs now. I know by those that I got to you just a little.

This woman is completely correct and very intelligent.

Just because I am pro-choice doesn't mean I'm pro-abortion. There is a clear distinction there. You should relabel your question pro-abortion.

I do not think the government has the right to intrude on personal decisions that an individual or family has to make. I believe this infringes upon a person's individual liberty which includes freedom of religious beliefs, etc. I personally think the most the government SHOULD do is to try to inform people of all the options/choices they DO have : giving birth and raising the child, aborting the child, placing the child up for adoption, seeing if other family members would raise the child themselves either for the life of the child or until a certain agreed upon time or fixed goal whereby then the mother/father/parents could then resume custody, etc, etc, etc. There are a lot of options.

Thus I am pro-choice or pro-option or pro-inform-the-person/people-making-the-decision-all-the-options-available-to them-and-then-let-them-decide-what-is-best-for-their-situation

I am confident that most people will not choose to abort the child but instead choose another course of action once they realize all the various options they have. What saddens me most is that some churches and some religious organizations spend more money and time trying to simply get abortion outlawed (which could only worsen things because then we'd never be able to track or regulate it) than they do spending the money on literature and programs that could help explain all the various options people have and even possibly help them in the decision making process if the people ask. Or even assisting government in providing literature and programs to explain and inform people of the various and multiple choices they have. This is where I think efforts should be focused. This has a greater impact than on politicizing the issue and trying to have it made illegal.

When a person is well informed of all their choices I have found that many people often then feel much more able to make better decisions for their lives (and this often means that the person chooses not to abort the child).

But all this is my humble opinion based upon experience in actually talking with people who are expecting a child and explaining all their options.

To date I have several friends who have spoken with relatives who now take care of their children in an arrangement whereby either they still get to visit the child or they will be able to receive custody back once they have completed college and have a stable income, or some other arrangement. And I have a few friends that chose adoption and actually went out and met many people who were looking to adopt (because they could not have children naturally) and developed a relationship with those couples and have thus been given visitation rights or some other arrangement also established. Among many others. None of my friends has, of yet, chosen abortion (although I do mention it as one of the choices).

Peace be with you.

Are you aware of the fact that the whole "pro-choice/pro-life" arguement is just propoganda? When you strip away the rhetoric, abortion is nothing more than an elective (that means the person has a choice whether or not to have it performed) procedure that women can undergo. No one is forced to have it performed, yet the moralistic fools who fall for the propoganda seem intent on removing the free will their god so graciously threw them out of eden for exercising, and force people to have children...under any and all circumstances.

If you were to remove the fetus from the womb in the first trimester of pregnancy, it would not survive. If it can't live as its own being, it is not a baby yet, plain and simple. Hell, the political groups who persist in making this an issue (in an attempt to curry favor from the religious right), only do so for the purpose of keeping people divided, and not focusing on the real issues. The proof of that statement can be made by just looking at the governments take on when you can recieve the tax break on the child. Is it at the time of conception, or birth?

Posting links to photos of aborted FETUS' is just sick. It's propoganda of the worst kind. Why not post links to pictures of the fat removed in liposuction, or show tumors that have been removed from the body? Oh, yeah...your morals allow those types of procedures.

Speaking on behalf of the humans who truly value the free will your supposed creator gave you, allow me to say this: If you are opposed to abortion, that's fine, don't have one. Do the rest of the country a favor though, and shut up. A free society allows choices such as this to be made. Freedom is just that, not the religious rights view that everyone is free to do what you want, as long as it falls within their narrow view.

Well, this is a nice " gross out " but I could show you the same style pictures for the contents of a happy meal.

Have you ever seen what happens to a cow before it becomes a hamburger? Well, they walk it into a nice metal room with a rack just above it. They tie a chain around its back legs and hoiste it up in the air. Then they take a sharp knife and slash it throat. It dangles there, bleeding to death for quite awhile. No, no bullet to the head, it's still alive while it's hanging there. That's how they get the blood out of the meat.
Do you still want that cheeseburger? Of course you do. It would be too much of a break in your routine just to stop the suffering and bloodshed of a helpless animal. To see the little smiles on children's faces as they are chewing on the fried carcass of the semi-recently slain. I wonder if they can taste the helplessness and suffering that the poor animal felt as it hung there, alone and in pain, wondering if what it had done to deserve such a fate? The last things that is see before it finally dies is it's brother's and sisters, ripped apart by a cruel men with sharp knives...

Are we done with the gross imagery and guilt trips yet? Good.
Now, let's have this conversation like civilied human beings. The question that the world must answer is this: At what point in time does an ejaculation become sentient life? I personally, perfer the " brainwave " rule. If it has brain waves, then it has the capacity for thought. If it has the capacity for thought ( sentient thought, that is ) then he/she can be murdered. Now I leave it in the hand of medical professional to discover when that is.

first off i do not agree with abortion. but i agree less with people showing me pictures of dead babies, especialy these people that shove them in my car at red lights and try to cram their religion down my throat. i have already lost 2 children , 1 to a miscarrage and 1 to a drunk driver. anyone shoveing a picture of a dead baby in my face is likely to end up with me knocking a few teeth out of their head.

BUT,

that aside it is not about MY beliefs or YOUR beliefs. noone has the right to turn religious beliefs into LAW. the fetus CANNOT live without the mother. so it is part of her body and she has the right to choose what she will do with her body.

dont like abortion dont have one. but keep your moral agenda and beliefs in your own house and your own religion.

I believe that all life is sacred. and i believe that abortion is wrong. but i also believe that not everyone on this planet sees things my way. and that they have the right to their own beliefs.

yes let us make abortion illegal. then gorls will just be doing ti in back alleys with rusty coat hangers again. then we can have a dead fetus and a dead teenager. and a "doctor" that will just do it again because there is no way to track him. can we not LEARN naything from the past. making it illegal will not get rid of it. it will just make the prociedure less sanitary and lead to more death.

next we can outlaw birth control and condoms.

and then we can start stoneing people in a public square, for not wearing a full face cover again...oh sorry that ia extreemist Islam not extreemist Christianity. what i menat to say was that we can burn to death anyone that does not believe in the god that the majority believes in...this will be a great country will it not.

right......

P.S. i did not look at your link, i do not need to to know what it will show. people that use images of dead babies to further their own goals are simply Emotional TERRORISTS.

I will pass the link to my pro life friend. I am sure she will appreciate it.

I still believe that a woman may have a compelling reason to have an abortion. An abortion of an embryo is not the murder of a baby according to my beliefs. Keeping a child in a foster home or being raised by a woman who does not willingly want to raise a child is cruel. How many children has your group adopted?

I saw some of those pictures on the website, myself I would never do that, but for other women I can't and won't tell them what to do. We all have the right to decide what we should or shouldn't do, although some people may take advantage of this situation by not protecting themselves.

I am not going to look at the site. BTW since you sent me a message on here a while back, and you don't allow people to contact you on here...... you are rude 99 % of the time on here when giving answers. You have that "know it all" attitude about you. I would have emailed you about it and replied to the message I got from you a while back but you don't allow people to send you messages on here. The next time you wish to contact me with your religious BS either attach your email addy so I can reply then reply back to me, or have your account on here set to where I can reply back to you when you send me messages. Thanks!

Anyways, I think that women should have the right to there should be limits to it. Like they should be allowed to only if the baby is going to have so many health problems like brain damage and such or something that's just going to cause them to suffer if they are born. Or if the child was conceived by a rape. I would hope in that case they would at least give the baby up for an adoption instead of having an abortion. However I will NEVER start trying to tell women what to do or try to talk them out of it. It's their body and their right to do as they wish as far as an abortion goes. If I am asked for my thought on it or for advice only then will I offer it.
I know a lady who haves had 4 abortions in a row cause she don't want kids and she don't want to use any kind of birthcontrol and no condoms neither and she don't want kids. She don't want to keep them and give them up for adoption cause she don't want to have to cary the baby then deliver it. So I know some people abuse the right to choose to have an abortion. However you abuse Yahoo Answers all the time, somethings theres not much you can do about things.

Wow, thanks for the hot hot hot link; what a great web cam shot of you. How much do I owe you for that nudie picture. I hope you don't get pregnant by those 6 guys you were with. Especially that one with the horns and pointy tail. You may need the address of a good abortion doc, unless you want to squirt for the devil.
oops--- sorry I guess the link got busted.
Oh-- that other link is a bummer. Is that a picture of your kid?
Looks just like you.
Oops again. Wrong link.
Sorry

When a child is unwanted they become neglected and abused children, because that is so much better right? Pawned off on the foster care system and given no life at all, or they are born of parents usually children themselves that will just expect me and other tax payers to foot the bill. Lovely so open your wallet and your home and take them in.
