I believe painting your bathroom is a personal choice. Make it your idea. You will like it better. If someone else chooses your colors you may not like it in the end. Paint it how YOU want! After you paint it and dont like the colors paint it again. It doesn't cost that much. Don't worry about the time it takes to do it, just have fun.

I would suggest you go to a place like Dollar General and look at their Borders. I found a shell border there that is really pretty. It has Sea Green, Peach and sand in it. You pick the Border then pick one of the colors for the paint, and one or both of the other colors for your towels. Go and look around, find something you like and go for it!! Good luck and have fun with it!!!

You're not giving us much to go on..... But I'll try and help. The trendy colors are brown, turquoise and anything metallic. Charcoal is also a big hit... Your best bet is to choose a starting focal point (like a brand new shower curtain that you really like) and take it from there...or give us some more info so we can help you more...

Keep it blue...repaint the walls with a turquoise color and add a dolphin theme. You can find the shower curtain, towels, wastebasket, bath rug, etc. at Wal-Mart. Pretty!

I suggest buying pretty new towels or a colorful shower curtain or a picture or poster you like first, and then painting the bathroom a color to coordinate with your inspiration piece.

I would go with a calmings colours of blues and greens, teamed with white.
Or if you want to definately keep the blue, try adding yellow. Yellow has been proven to boost mood and be more positive.
Then again, so has orange, but because blue and orange are opposite colours, you would have to find the exact right shade for it to work really well.

You can get away with WILD effects in a small room like a bathroom or foyer where you don't spend a lot of time. This is the decorating space to REALLY take chances with.

I love light sand with a hint of rose coloring. Here's a link that gives some ideas in pictures:
