Just a couple of technical points:

As I think someone already mentioned, Judaism comes from "Judah," which was originially the name of an individual (and still is used as such - but it's "Judah," or "Yehudah," and not Judas... judging by your spelling, I can't tell if you're trying to say it comes from Juda(h)'s name, or Judas' name - but it wouldn't be Judas) - but by the time "Jewish" was a word, it was a referrnence to Judah's tribe of the same name (a Levite is a member of the tribe of Levi, just as a Benjaminite would be a member of the tribe of Benjamin). This is because "Jew/Yehudi/Judean" became synonymous with Israelite/Hebrew after ten of the tribes of Israel were scattered, and the majority of those left were from Judah. So that explains that.

Christ is more of a title than a name, even though they use it as a name nowadays (i.e. Jesus Christ). In fact, the word derives from the Greek word for "annointed" (Greek being the language of the Gospels - the Hebrew Bible being written in, you guessed it, Hebrew), which is a synonym for the Hebrew word "Moshiach" (this is where Messiah comes from).

Similarly, "Buddha" is also a title, referring to an "enlightened being". There were, in fact, a great many Buddhas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddha).

Lastly, Islam is Arabic for "submission," as in "Submission to G-d".

A quick note on semitic languages (like Hebrew and Arabic) is that words tend to be based on a three-letter root that denotes a concept. So, for example, the root k-t-b refers to writing, and is the basis for words like the following:

katîb: writer
kitâba: the act of writing
kitâb: some writing, book
kutub: books
kutubî: bookdealer
kutayyib: booklet
maktûb: letter
maktab: school, office
maktaba: library, literature

Etc., etc. I only mention this make the following point: That the root of Islam is sin, laam, mem - S-L-M; the same as Salaam (Peace). So some apologists for Islam will tell you that the name of the religion is "peace". Take that for what you will. Theoretically, there is a linguistic connection, but the direct translation is, in fact, submission.

Sorry for the ridiculously long answer, but I hope you found it informative and point-worthy. :)

The name for the religion of Islam is much more than just a name because it expresses a deep spiritual meaning as well as an overall outlook on life and concept of worship. The word "Islam" is an Arabic word which means "complete submission to the will of Almighty God". Other religions are named after their founders, such as Christianity and Buddhism; after a tribe or ethnic group, such as Judaism; or after a specific geographical region, such as Hinduism. Islam, however, is unique because its name represents its outlook on life and reflects its universal nature. Additionally, the name "Islam" was not thought up by its followers or applied by other people, as is the case with the names of other religions, but was revealed by Almighty God. This name expressed nothing new, because submission to the will of God, i.e. "Islam", has always been the true religion of God. Due to this fact, and since the teachings of Islam are straightforward, profound and logical, Islam is the "Natural Religion" of all human beings. The name of no other religion carries any significant message, or conveys the true sense of its outlook on life, as does the name "Islam".

Islam means to surrender to God, and for your information Judaism does not come Judah, it comes from the tribes of Judah.Hinduism isn't named after Hindu,so the concept that all religions are named after someone is just a tinge wrong eh

Islam is the best religion as there is no messiah coming to save us, no random gods and goddesses and no begotten sons.

There is just one God, thats it.
