i am now self employed and do not have to deal with office politics but did at one time the harassment women had to take from male office workers was awful...is it better or worse today?

I had my first experience with it in my last job! In fact, it was my last job because I had to quit b/c of that pervert manager a**hole!!! He would touch my butt and hover over me and try to get me to break up with my boyfriend and blah blah. Then, when he finally got somewhat of a hint that I DIDN'T like him, that I DIDN'T want anything to do with him, he caused thousands of dollars of damage to my car by putting some s*** in my gas tank!!! It's bad if you get near the wrong people. Women need to be guarded and unflirtatious with men at work if they don't know them at all.

I haven't work for a while, but I think it is still the same. Harassment on women will always exist, I used it to my advantage. I did not have to do anything(like going to bed or anything) I exploited them with sexual talk, that made them think they were really touching flesh. My way of speaking is very sensual. So no harm done to either party.

it is still pretty bad depending on the work environment. I just had to transfer from the SAMS Club to a Home Office because this guy that worked i nthe tire and battery center was sayin stuff he shouldn't even after i told him i felt uncomfortable. Feelin on me, sayin he had dreams about me, talkin about my underwear, callin me sexy. IT is still a fairly big issue... i have had this problem at two of the places i have worked at.

I believe that its still gradually increasing despite that earning a living is hard enough when getting a job is a hard catch. There is just no way at all to stop such a crime.

It hasn't gotten any better in the last 20 years. It may be more subtle and harder to prove, but it is definitely still there.

If you spent one day at my job you would go in to hiding if that sort of thing bothers you!!! I've seen more genitalia at work than in my personal life.

i think is gotten better because there more laws that protect employees nowadays...i think that women harass man more than man do
