The trashbin i'm referring to is the one put under a waste receptacle for a food wastes used in restaurants. We're currently using fiber glass, but im thinking of a way to make it cheaper but stil as durable. Plastics tend to be brittle and easily breaks, so it's not an option as of the now. Can someone help me? Thank you.

Polyethylene is what many trash cans are made of, hence the name "poly cart", the same material has "BIN" used to make Front-end loader cans up to four cubic yards, the wall are pretty thick and the cart that the local city uses weighs 57 pounds and has a capacity of 90 gallons or about 1 half cubic yard, they do break when crushed and cold but generally hold up very well. The Glass reinforced plastic your using is brittle and must be VERY thick and reinforced to keep from breaking. Try HDPE (high density Polyethylene) I think you will be impressed and if it does crack you can have it welded back as good as new.

I think the containers to feed cattle made of wood planks, may work out to be cheaper than fiber based container. If varnished on both inside and outside we may get the same durability. It is also bio-degradable and Eco friendly. The only disadvantage would be that it may be slightly heavier.

If it really is not any longer coded as recyclable then do not put in contained in the recycle packing boxes. It is totally no longer recycled if recycling is being carried out legally by skill of your city. it's going to be taken care of out and thrown away. so that you'll besides throw it away your self. one component you may want to do is attempt to purchase fewer products that are plastic, use reusable baggage for groceries, and easily do your section. recognize what you your city's recycle regulations are... it differs from one city to the subsequent. no matter if it really is recyclable plastic, figuring out to purchase a lot less is optimum. truly of all those water bottles, use a filtered pitcher and characteristic a number of the reusable form water bottles accessible and fill them from the pitcher. you'd be taken aback how a lot plastic that saves.

Try FRP (fiber reinforced polymer). There are a large number of material formulations depending on what properties you want and the cost.
