The pharmacist at CVS said the pills are not yet available to girls without a prescription. Can anyone just buy them over-the-counter as the law just passed prescribed?

They are not going to be OTC, but are going to be Behind the counter according to the FDA. BTC sales should start sometime in the winter. To buy them, you will have to be 18 years old, and a pharmacist or other licensed medical professional, i.e. RN, MD, will have to be present. If the pharmacy is closed, you will not be able to buy Plan B. You will not need a prescription if over 18 for BTC. You will need a prescription if under 18 years.

Anyone over 18 can buy and sign for them at the Pharmacy window. However, if you are a minor, you have to have a parent or guardian with you.
