or
On the top of the stove flame or heat set as low as possible. On a well seasoned, large, cast iron skillet. Cover with a loose fitting cover (from any of your other pots will be fine) sprinkle a little water on them and & flip them occaisionally if you leave them for a long time.
or
Under a heat lamp like at the fast food restaraunts.

You put a griddle on the stove at medium heat and when it is heated place a tortilla on it and wait until one side heats then flip and wait. If it takes more then 30 seconds to heat one side then turn the heat up. When tortillas are hot put in a clean folded tea towel, it will keep the tortilla warm. I hope that I was some help.

I knew an older Mexican-American lady who turned on one of the burners on the gas stove and plopped the tortilla straight onto that, no pan or anything. She used a fork and flipped it over after a few seconds. It only takes a very few seconds per side that way. I guess it's authentic. I heat mine in the microwave, but I never let her see me do that!

wrap in paper towels and heat in microwave for a minute or so depending on how many you are heating....if its only a couple then 30 seconds will probably work. Or if you have a gas stove, turn the burner on medium and put one directly on burner flip over after about 30 seconds...they actually taste better this way.

It really depends on how you like them. Chewy? Microwave. A little crunchy? Put them right on your burner for a few seconds per side. Make sure it is on low. Otherwise, pop them in the oven on warm while you are cooking. If you are concerned your oven is too warm, drape them in a moist paper or regular towel. This will keep them from crispifying.

microwave......you guys should be ashamed. ask any mexican to do a blind taste test and they can tell a micro tortilla. a comal is the only way to get the absolute best taste out of a flour tortilla.

Buy a tortilla warmer for your microwave! If you don't have one then cover with paper towel and heat in microwave for about 15 seconds and check to see if warm enough, if not heat for another few seconds.

Same way the Mexicans do -- put them in a med. hot ungreased frying pan for about 1 minute per side. If you use the microwave they get tough.
