Here we go again, another liberal mag. spouting that they have "evidence" that neanderthals lived 500,000 years before us and that we are common ancestors to them! That we are primates, and so are apes. I've never seen an ape dial a cell phone! Citing the top geologists in the country as experts. These men have only devoted their lives to one thing: science. How could they know what we know? That God created this earth 6000 years ago and all of this evidence is fake. The Grand Canyon is a lie told by the devil. Don't believe your eyes fellow believers...Sure, they do have skeletal bones from something that lived "a long time ago" but we know that their dating techniques aren't as good as the bibles right!? Yes, we have know physical evidence of Adam and Eve, Noah's ark or that humans could live to be 600 years old like Moses, or Abraham (he was only 175) but who needs evidence when we've got Faith!?

Remember, the Devil mixes his lies with the truth!

Are you mocking what some people actually believe in our origins or is this your real question?

If it's a mockery, brillant!

If you really have trouble in accepting our origins, you must let go of your religion. Religion is a mind virus that inhibits it's believers from understanding and accepting the truth. Science is the means we know this truth.

You do know that your belief that the earth is only 6000 years old and about dating everything being wrong is giving them ammunition, right? I'm a true Christian with firm belief in God's written word, but I know this earth is older than 6000 years, in fact more like 4 billion years. The creation account shows that God's creation days blend from one into the next and that God's days of creation were not literally 24 hours long but could have been millions of years+ each. Read your Bible a little closer and stop making all Christians look like idiots. If you would like a good magazine, Is There a Creator?, that explains everything including statements from evolutionists and scientists, email me and we can arrange it.

There might want to be a schism between those who believe that ny develop into actually 10 yards from San Francisco and those who believed that 'backyard' develop into getting used metaphorically

The most fundamental of all Gods gifts to us, His children, is the agency to choose what we will believe and what we will do. It is every persons God given right to do so. It is also one of the gravest of sins to take or even try to take that agency away from another of His children. To carry on the way you're doing, complaining and carrying on, You are in jeopardy of trying to commit such a sin. People who believe in other ways besides creation would lose their power if believers in the creation would quit responding to their questions and accusations. Perfect yourself before worrying about perfecting others.

My opinion is that if some people believe they are related to apes who are we to argue with them? I doesn't mean we are related to apes also.
I think back to H.G. Wells' Time Machine where, in the future, there were 2 civilizations, the Morlocks and the Eloi. The Morlocks were ugly savages and the Eloi were beautiful and non violent.
If someone wants to be in the Morlock camp, more power to them!

You've never seen an ape dial a cell phone? What about all those people who do it while they are driving?

Yeah, dispute that!

The article also mentions that we share 99% of DNA with apes. Blasphemy, even if it is true!

PS - It's kind of "cute" that so many folks on here don't recognize your satire.

You are ignorant. Do you have a Ph.D from a major university in Anthropology or Biology? I thought so. If you knew how lame you sound, you would be embarrassed.

I don't read TIME magazine a lot, I guess I will check this stuff out. But really, it doesn't matter what they say or "find" I am going to believe in creation no matter what...
