Probobly not what you would call prayer.. they just talked to Him.. and somehow I don't think He is "the bearded guy on the clouds" He was with them. You could at least be respectful if you are going to talk about other people's beliefs...

God has no image, God has no human features, God is way beyond what are our minds could imagine...
and yes, they did worship God, not the "bearded guy on the clouds"!!
