while I do have concern for the 7-year old whose mother wants to stay in this country; I cannot honestly say she is on the right track; she is continuing to break the laws & and that is a poor example she is setting for her son.If it is okay for her to stay here; that law would have to be changed immediately to accommodate other immigrants who are here illeglely. (I don't think illeglely is spelled right and I did use the Spell Check)!

I think she should be deported, and should never have come back after being deported the first time to have the kid here, to begin with. I have heard NOTHING of his father in all this, so I really do wonder if there was a conventional relationship involved in this, at all.

Be that as it may, none of this is the kid's fault, but kids do suffer when their parents do wrong. If their parents commit murder, the parent might be executed and not have the choice of providing a family for the child.

The fact that the child is innocent doesn't impact what happens to the parent. The only situation where that is not the case is if there would be an unreasonable hardship (not just separation from parents which happens all the time if the parent chooses that.) I heard that where one child was dying and couldn't be moved from the hospital, they let the mother come back to be with him until he died.

Barring that sort of temporary hardship for the citizen, there is no case for the mother.

Breaking the law is still breaking the law..
Had this been about anyone else, the law would have prevailed..
I know in my heart, as a mother, I would do anything for my children.. but that doesn't make this right.
Illegal is still...illegal (against the law)
