the thing about shock collars is that they're only effective if you're witnessing the offending behavior...and if you're witnessing the dog peeing on your furniture, then you're in a position to do something about it without using shocks. Remove the dog and place her outside immediately.... then congratulate her A LOT when she does her business outside...every time she does her business outside.

If she's peeing on the furniture when you're not home, then you need to crate her...or designate part of a small room in your house (without furniture or carpet) for her to stay while you're gone.

If she actually pees all the time on the furniture while you're standing right there...it might not be a behavior problem at all...she might be excited, or frightened...or experiencing a health problem.

Please don't use the shock collar for something like this though...that's not what it was ever intended for.

A shock collar will not train your dog not to use the furniture as a toilet. Unless it is a bark collar it requires you to push a button to shock the dog in the act of doing something wrong. If you are right there where you can see the dog why do you need a shock collar? Just give him a sharp "NO!" and put him outside where he is supposed to go. The only type of collar that even comes close to what you want it to do would be the invisible fence type of system and you would use it to mark off the furniture so the dog can't get close to it. If that is what you mean by shock collar you have to order all the pieces, not just a collar. The invisible fence type systems can be purchased on line, in pet or livestock feed stores, and from people who install invisible fencing for a living.

Shock Collars are not for training dogs not to pee on furniture, they are for barking and in some states actually illegal and if used are considered animal cruelty. I am not sure what the law is where I am but I do not care what it is I consider is animal cruelty and think whoever uses one has no right to have a pet and needs to have a shcok collar put on them so they see how it feels.

If your to lazy to train your dog normally then here is a simple solution, give it to a more responsible non lazy person who will not turture it with a inhumane collar.

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMQDJ

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

shocking collars are not meant to be used indoors. They are meant for training sporting dogs or for training situations as in dogs not to chase cars, etc. Get you a spray bottle and fill it with water and use that. I have heard however it is hard to break this habit. Good luck

You can purchase them at Petco or Petsmart...or on-line. Also get a book on how to train your dog (whatever breed it is)...I love the "Dog Training For Dummies" book, myself! Good luck.
