Trust is something you earn, after you break this trust is very hard to get back, because if you cheated once, you might do it again. I believe that people can forgive you if you cheat, but they will never forget. So at any time this mistrust can come back. In reality after someone has lost trust in you, you will never, ever again have full trust from the person you cheated on. You will forever have to walk in a straight narrow path. Good luck.

Trust is hard to earn back after cheating because the trust was broken and you were betrayed. That's not an easy thing to get over and most of the time, if they do it once, they'll do it again.

Because usually, once a cheater, always a cheater. Plain and simple. If you don't want to lose trust, don't cheat. It's not that hard of a concept. That's what self-control is called. If you absolutely cannot control yourself, break off what relationship you are in before you cheat, then go on your merry way being a total man-whore!

You know what? I don't think you really ever earn that trust back from someone. Once you hurt them in anyway that will always stay with them.I think they are afraid to let their guard down as in if the door is open a crack you might push it all the way open and take the chance to run. They don't want to go through the pain, anger and hurt all over again. Anyway...that is how I see it.

Because normally if you cheat once you will again. Cheating is a big breach of trust and once you loose trust there is nothing left because the other person will always wonder.

because you lost the trust by cheating. listen when a girl is cheated on she loses a lot of self confidence. she needs proof that you love her and wont do it again. shes hurt, and when someone is hurt it is very hard to break through the wall they've put up around themselves.....same with guys. only they break things, along with everything else i just said. dont give up.....but if you really want to be with this girl, why the hell did you cheat on her?

Because once you cheat you have tought your partner that the signs they suspected were real instead of in thier head. These signs also show up in day to day life with or without the cheating. So when your partner sees you preforming even a partial sign they automatically suspect the worse. Try not to get mad at them for it, since it is only human nature and they were allready hurt at least once.

trust is never earned back in cheating. Tollerance is used in it's place. I would tollerate someone who cheated on me if I really cared about them. But, I would never fully trust them again. When you take another partner and cheat on your mate you have thrown your trust away. You ruined it forever. Then you have to learn to tollerate or start over with someone else. Peace be with you.

YOu are in essence, a liar and a perosn not to be depended on. No one forced you to cheat. You decided to have some fun.
Do not expect the other to ever forgoive, and it couyld explode without warning., Forgiveness and moving fporward as a couople after infidelity is rare.

Because there is never really a situation where anyone should welcome back a cheater.... it is the worst thing you could ever do. If you are unhappy end the relationship and then look for someone. There is no such thing as a person who cheats once and will never do it again... a cheater cheats.
