I keep my photos digitally. I do not want prints. All the brick & mortor shops are set up only for people who want prints. All the online shops are set up for people who want digital low-res shots and who will order prints. I just want digital, full res files without paying to get prints made. I also do not need photos on a CD, I'm happy to download them. I'm just looking for a business that handles this market.

Ritz Cameras and many others will develop your film and scan the negatives. They only have the capability to burn it to a CD, but you can ask for no prints without a problem. I worked at Ritz for almost 5 years and I myself do not get prints when I have film developed.

for a disposable camera you have to put the pictures into print form before they can be made digital... because the image is made as a negative on film, it has to be made into a positive print before it can be scanned into a computer as digital.

So I think the answer to your question is that you need to spend the money on a decent digital camera.

JEN is wrong, look for a Telecine place, like: Avid or atlab, they can process your film and scan the negative into a computer as a positive and download, etc. to you
