you need to increase your potassium. A banana a day should do the trick and maybe a supplemental vitamin if you feel the need.

You probably need more potassium in your diet. Try eating bananas. If you don't like bananas get a multi-vitamin and drink plenty of water. At least 8-10 glasses a day. You should also walk and stretch your legs out everyday.

Put a pillow between ur knees when you lay down, it will take all the weight off of them onto the pillow. And take you some advil pm for night aches and pains. or just try and laying in diffrent positions, and or get up and walk around for a bit. don't lay in the same position all night. Drink a cup of milk a day, it gives you calcium for your bones, so they won't ache. And eat bananas that give you potassium for your bones.

I've heard leg cramps are due to a lack of salt and electralites in the body, try drinking a sports drink like gatoraide of powerade during they day and see if this helps..

A few years ago my husband had the same problems. His doctor told him to eat more bananas. The potasium int he banana helped keep him from cramping and also you need more water. The lack of water in your muscles cause them to contract.

You need to increase your potassium intake. Try eating a banana or two a day. A blood test could tell you how depleted your body is of potassium.
