cuz i did it camping a few weeks ago, but never got sick. is there some gross thing growing in me now?

First--It's NOT STERILE...It is WASTE from your body. Is your crap sterile??? NO, neither is your pee. If it was sterile, how would a drug test work at all???? It wouldn't!!! There are red and white blood cells, bacteria and drugs in there. Ever take a multivitamin the pee really bright yellow? That's vitamin B your body didn't need. Sterile solutions don't have these things in them.
All that being said, you can drink it, not recommended, but it's usually ok if you're only "recycling" once. After that, you risk toxic shock or whatever it's called. It's the fluid that your body didn't use the first time, how many times do you think you can run it through before something goes wrong.
If you don't have any symptoms by now, you should be safe.

Why put it through a Brita water filter?
I think you need a pee filter for that.
You better start asking around for pee filters.

Pee is pretty much sterile. You would have been fine even without filtering it. Why did you feel the need to drink your pee?

Personally, I wouldn't drink it but I have heard that your first pee each morning is chock full of enzymes that are good for you. No filter needed.

If you were desperate...then probably not. I mean, all you really have to do is heat it in a glass container over a fire with a tube so that what evaporates can transfer to another glass container...and you'll get water....(learned that in chemistry)

if it ain't killed you by now, you're probably going to make it. But yes, its bad to drink pee, I don't care what you filter it with.

no one ever tested b4, how does it taste like ?r u still ok? i heard some ppl drink pee in china but not filltered but they still look fine .

Actually urine is sterile and will not harm you even if you drink it "right from the fountain." So, other than you qualify for the movie Jackass, you'll be fine.

Pff....you people its not digusting...this is all NATURAL...yeah your body filter the stuff already...but you can keep filtering it if you want.
