Wasn't it technically God's fault because he let the devil temp her that way? Seems to me like this one should go to God.

I like to think of Eve's choice as 'original free will' rather than 'original sin'.
I mean, really... why would God put the tree there in the first place!? Would a parent put a can of bug spray in the middle of the room and then tell their two year old ' you can play with everything else, but leave the bug spray alone'? Sounds rather unlikely that an all-knowing God would do something so foolish... unless he was deliberately tempting them to disobey.

God is not the author of all He allows. Satan approached the woman as the "weaker" vessel and consequently through woman Sin entered the world. Sin is "disobedience" regardless of the vessel that is it's medium.

That which differentiate humans from gorillas is "Free Will". That is the divine aspect of our incarnation once we had the ability to "choose" we became]came as Gods with the ability to know the difference between that which is good and that which is evil BUT we have a flawed fallen nature that prohibits us from seeing clearly hence ... good appear to be evil and vice versa.

Just look at society today and the Far Left Wing ACLU Adoring Liberal Democrats cursing the Light and propagating the Dark side of human nature ... secular progressives without absolutes!

It was both Adam and Eve's fault. It was not God's fault at all. It was part of His plan for things to work out the way they did.

Not devil that name comes latter in the bible. SATAN maybe in the disguise of the serpent. Which would point to a possibility that GOD wanted EVE and ADAM to eat of the fruit of the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL. and Put them out of the GARDEN to grow up on their own with out GODS help. as they met other tribes outside of the GARDEN.And start the line of Israelites in the physical world.
The only thing that GOD seemed to be worried about is that they would find the tree of LIFE and become as GODS them selves.

Saying it was Eve's fault is like saying that the Jews killed Jesus. Silence is a killer. Adam is the protecter. What happened to his authority. He consented by not speaking out. Thats about what most of us do when we fail to speak out the truth.

Yes God may have set us up and we failed. Now don't touch that paint job with the sign DO NOT TOUCH

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Eve was weak and God knew this all along. He let the Devil tempt her. It was no different with Job.

Adam and Eve chose to disobey. God is not the author of confusion. Man chose. God created man to commune with Him out of man's own free will.

It's shared but certainly not with God. Satan, Eve, and Adam were at fault. You people who don't have a clue, why do you answer?

If God gave us free will and it started with the Garden of Eden then why would he put a tree that they could not touch....its been my experience that when i'm told not to touch something i'm more tempted to touch it...kids always fall for it- reverse psychology.......think about it.....
