the text size isnt the problem. the reason its so small is because the browser version is too old for the microsoft website to work with. view-text size doesn't help at all. is there a direct-link someone can make me that goes straight to the download?

First, go to http://www.microsoft.com and click on DOWNLOAD
Scroll down to the Internet Explorer section and click on

Internet Explorer 6 with SP1. (Dpn't get 7)

After downloading that, RUN IT while you are still on-line. This will download the rest of it.

Then restart and get your Windows Updates

you get script errors cuz your browser is old :( don't use IE4 it's not safe to to use it..I'm not even sure if mozzila will support it, try to get firefox or opera, don't bother with windows update microsoft won't support it anymore

goto best buy, office max or home depot. pick up a peoplepc cd-rom. put the disk in and go into my computer., cancel the install if it comes up. then right click peoplepc oneline and goto explore. open a folder called IE, then folder EN. Then open ie6setup.exe. :) if you are still getting scripting errors, explore the cd-rom again, but go into utilities and open scr56en.exe for scripting errors. hope this helps.
