Vegas? What was it like? Would you recommend doing it? What is your opinion of a Vegas wedding? I have heard some says it trashy, is this true?

i got married in reno, but the premis is the same im sure. it doesnt matter what people think, it matters what the bride and groom want. my hubby and i ran off to reno one three day weekend and came back husband and wife. our family later threw us a party and such. i think it was romantic and it was just about us. it didnt matter about other people because it was about our commitment to eachother not our ability to please everyone.

I feel a Vegas wedding is nice but I prefer one at a church. That is just my opinion. It is the bride and grooms choice where they get married. It's their day not everyone elses.

A good friend of mine got married in Vegas 3 years ago. It was nice. They got married at Treasure Island, cause her husband was in the Coast Guard and she was in the Navy. The room was nice, and everything was furnished, all she had to do was show up. It was cheap too. I think she paid $400.

I went to a vagas wedding. It was a friend of mine. He got divorced in a year.
The more $$$ you spend, the better the wedding. Especially true in Vegas.....
