Truthfully speaking I think if there was ever any truth to modern religious movements man corrupted it many years ago. If God did speak to people and have them write down his thoughts I think other men have tampered with those words for their own purposes. What I am saying is, I am not religious because I think modern religion has gone very far away from God. But, I don’t think some of you people should attack believers. I may not like religion but I love the people. Attack the institution if you must, but spare the people who are only doing what they believe is right.

If God spoke to people and had them write it down, don't you think He would be able to make sure His message was preserved correctly?

Fragments of every book of the Hebrew canon (Old Testament) have been discovered except for the book of Esther.
The Isaiah Scroll, found relatively intact, is 1000 years older than any previously known copy of Isaiah. In fact, the scrolls are the oldest group of Old Testament manuscripts ever found.
Although some of the biblical manuscripts found at Qumran differ significantly from the Masoretic text, most do not. The scrolls thus provide new variants and the ability to be more confident of those readings where the Dead Sea manuscripts agree with the Masoretic text or with the early Greek manuscripts.

'Cuz, those particular people "who are only doing what they believe is right" shouldn't exactly be spared.

Well Muslims going after Christians is quite a predicament then, isn't it? I think you should not generalize because a TRULY religious person will hate, disrespect and try to get rid of those who do not follow their same beliefs.

I agree with you completely, I find christianity and Islam (and pretty much any other religion) sickening... Yet I love christians and Muslims (not all of them, yet that's not because of their religions).
