I don't believe that it is dyslexia, but you do need to discuss it with your Dr.

I truly empathize with you! I basically doubt you can "just come up" with it. Nine years ago, for no obvious reason, my left arm & hand was suddenly paralized, then the right. I had copious neurological tests that showed I had "severe nerve damage" but never the cause of it. For years, I had recurring "hand drop"--meaning my hand would just fall at right angle to my wrist & be totally useless. Please read on, because while these symptoms have nothing to do with you, the most disturbing was that I couldn't write by hand AT ALL. I couldn't form the letters, they'd be all mixed up, & when I read, I'd read a couple of words in a sentence incorrectly, & have to keep going back & back. It didn't affect my speech, or thinking, but was very frustrating. Through a lot of research, (specialists in Geogetown bla bla), I found out it was from an antibiotic--that not long after was taken off the market. Certain toxic substances can cause nerve damage.
After learning to live with this for nine years, one fine day I started my usual scribbles, & everything just flowed. No more problems with reading, either. It's something of a "miracle" since no doctor can explain it, anymore than they did the nerve damage--just said I was an "anomoly." I'd suggest you go to your Yahoo page (not Q&A), type in "dyslexia" & enter. There should be lots of links that can professionally answer your question. I also go to medicinenet.com, mayoclinic.com, realage.com, when doctors just give me a blank look & no answers. These sites are extremely helpful. Bush has dyslexia, you can tell by the way he speaks. That's another aspect of it. Good luck!....

I am dyslexic and I found as the print got smaller, epically text books and magazines the comprehension got less and less. It's a tracking thing if you put a piece of paper under the line your reading and slide the paper down line by line it will help. I also cannot see words 4 letters and under. These words are usually connecting words and impeded comprehension.
