I tried to use my check card that is more reliable then credit cards, and I was refused. Why?

Hello My Friend,
Yahoo will not accept bank check cards because of the massive fraud potential that exists with them. There seems to be an epidemic in the USA right now, where people steal mail and use the routing codes and the account numbers to steal merchandise.
Yahoo has been burned too many times and unless the card complies with the "Verified by Visa" program, it will not clear!

because somebody out there wants to steal the route numbers so thats why they don,t accept bank cards

i guess yahoo is not "IGNORAMUS" as you are.people in the business knew the risk.
