yeah, i would-he is like family to me. why don't you just ask him why he is being so distant then tell him how much you cherish his friendship. perhaps you put the pressure on wanting to get back together and that is why he is avoiding you. just make sure you are both on the same page. good luck.

Ex is a sentimental value which is no longer practical and doesnt make sense. Move on instead of hoping. Life is too short and there is plenty fish in the sea.

i would only care if i wanted to continue some sort of friendship with this person.
if he is a jerk and you dumped him and you want to have nothing to do with him, you have nothing to fret about right?
but i guess this isnt the case.
i suggest trying to talk to him, and be friendly and try to build back up a friendly relationship, without coming off as creepy.
if he doesnt want anything to do with you, just give it some time, and things will eventually cool off. you will both get new dates, and it will become less awkward after a while.

For me, ex bf are just past time. I shall forget them and don't bother to look back again. And I also demand this to my hubby.
If bf try not to contact you maybe he just doesn't want to be connected to you for while, to ease his pain of breaking up? Take your time, for me I count this kind of thing as my luck..

I would and I wouldnt. Its normal that you want to talk to some one you used to be with, but its better not to. Its better if you really decided youre not ment for each other. Go out with yr friends, itll pass. :)

I'm still really good friends with my ex so I'd be really sad if he stopped talking to me, but like I said... it's his life, not mine and i'm not going to tell him what to do.
