Two of my guy friends like me and i chose to pick one of them. How can i get the other one to back off with out hurting his feelings or losing our friendship. Oh yeah... both boys are really good friends. I need answers!!!

You are probably too vain to take this advice and I would be too...But just in case not, here goes: When you are alone with the guy you want to back off, pretend to have vile habits like pick your nose and eat it. He will lose interest but hopefully still be your friend. If he tells guy #2 about it, guy #2 will not believe it because no matter how closely he watches you, he will never personally witness it.

If they are really good friends why be selffish and do something that would possibly hurt their friendship? Not to mention your friendship with them. It is not classy to break up a good friendship. Only hurt will come of it. It takes a special person to respect friendship over hormones.

Well, you have sex with one and date the other. If you give the loser or less fortunate a parting present he will take it well then. Make it like you thought it was you I want but I really don't want to be with you it's the other one I want to be with. Remember most guys are always happy when they get loving whether relationship or not. Give him a parting ways present. Give the other one the long term monthly investment. Hahahaha! Seriously, try it! It should work for you.

Talk to him about it and explain that you only want to be friends because you are going out with the other friend. I'm sure if he likes you that much he would rather friendship than nothing at all. Good luck.

The answer is up to you. If they are friends you will likely loose one of them or they will not be friends if you choose one of them. That's the problem. So, the question is ...is it worth loosing a good friend, or possibly 2 good friends or having them not be friends anymore? When you decide it's worth it then you have to tell the one you like to tell his friend and you live with the consequences.

just staright out tell the one person that you do not have feelings for that you are not interested in him the same he is in you and let him know that you are laready with someone ( even though you are not unless you really are ) and tell them you have feelings for another person and you are sorry if you hurt him but you would like to still be friends....

i experienced that too, and i think that there's no way you couldn't hurt one them. Maybe you'll hurt the one that you'd choose to back off, but if you tell him the truth, i guess it would lessen the pain he'll go through and you won't be wasting his time on you for nothing..As they say "the truth does hurt!"

well. dont do what i did. i was going out with this kid, named zac ( i really didn't like him, one of my friends told him i said yes, but i didn't, and i didn't want to be mean, so i went along with it) and that same night my on and off again bf, eric asked me back out, and i said yes. thinking i could just break up with zac the next day, i didn't sttress on it too much. well eric say zac kiss me and thought i was cheating on him, which i was...PLEASE dont do that. explain to them that you dont want to change things between you guys. if you break up, it'd be all awkward, and it'd be hard to forget...you know what i mean? just dont play around with their emotions, like i did. do what your heart tells you, but just dont beat around the bush. good luck girlie!!
