however long you would like to wait to send him the email, and also depends on the situation and when the date is going to occur. emailing him back within the hour makes you sound kinda desperate to see him. waiting for a couple of hours later is almost like within the hour. emailing him the next day makes it seem like you're playing hard to get a bit. email him within twelve hours so that it gives you a bit of time to prepare what you're going to say in the email and doesnt give the impression that you really like this guy, even though you might. one thing i know is that for a date a girl shouldnt make it obvious in front of a guy that she really likes him.

If he emails in the morning, then I'd email back in the evening to accept or decline. A little anticipation never hurt anyone. It adds to the excitment. Good luck.
