I think most of what your referring to is basically yeah, people being bothered by others discussing things that they are completely blind to, with seriousness.
I mean think if you visited a village full of people who hadn't been exposed to the outside world, and all the people were born without eyes. it'd make sense to get a weird response when you commented on how ugly their clothes and food was, eh?
some people just don't have the sense to recognize that maybe, just maybe, some people, who are entirely sane, perceive the world in a different way, and might even be able to percieve things they cannot.
I guess I can see why they'd fight so much against the idea of things like that being taken seriously... I know I'd find the world to be alot scarier if I was blind or deaf. to those with no spiritual awareness, the ideas of that stuff being real must be pretty terrifying.

Some Atheist are pretty nasty toward Christians. Others just joke around. What usually seems to happen, is that after a very nasty series of questions, somebody new wanders into the midst. They may ask an honest question, but they get treated as if they had just asked another hateful one. Also there are a lot of clones on here. They pretend to be a Christian so that they can post all kinds of terrible things and make us look hateful. For example, the real whynotaskdon seems to be a very decent guy. However there are a bunch of copycats that use similar names and say some really hateful things.

Yes this is supposed to be a Religion&Spiritual Q&A section.
unfortunatly there are people that are just putting in any old thing to get the points for answering a Question .
while Religion and Spirituality are the same side of the coin more people are spliting hairs and trying to divide them . And very few like to have their world shaken by someone else showing that they have misinterpated somthing.
Reality scares the _ out of a lot of people.

Most so called Christians, don't like spiritual or Biblical questions is because they have not studied their Bible and only know what their preacher tells them on Sunday morning. 2 Timothy 2: 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1. The word is SPIRITUAL with no E on the end.
2. Please clean up your grammar, it is very difficult to decipher what you want to convey.
3. Most of the "questions" in this category are not really questions at all. Just a thinly veiled attempt to make their TRUTH known to all mankind.

Sometimes the question seems more like a statement or a plea for an affirmation of belief, than an actual question. For example, when someone asks something like, "How much do you love Jesus", it does not seem that he or she is really looking for an answer.

I rather have the assurance of heaven and miss place an (e )now and then. I look forward to all these earthly things [passing away) and to be perfected in the next life. We are not of this world (so we cannot understand) the people who are of this world. We are aliens in a foreign land but thanks be to God He gives us the victory through Christ Jesus. amen

Some people think it's cute to give a "smart" answer. Spiritual questions can make me think and go back to my Bible to check it out.... So ask your questions.... You know some people don't know the answers but what to show how ignorant they are.

I agree. There are too many people pointing fingers and taking offense to religion these days. While you don't have to accept everyone's opinion in your life, you have to be yourself and not condemn others for what they believe (within reason, of course). Too many people use religion (or lack of) for an excuse in life. People need to accept themselves for who/what they are and be happy/satisfied with that, live their lives accordingly, without anger, rather than be disgruntled and try to hurt other people. That's not right no matter what religion you are/aren't. People are people, they all have feelings and should be respected. There's no right or wrong in the land of normal (extremists can **** off!).
