DO NOT USE MOUSSE!!! All that is good for is body. You need to invest in good shampoo and conditioner. I used Pantene Pro V hydrating curls shampoo and conditioner. I also use Redken Extreme Conditioner every other day because my curly hair is very dry and damaged. I use no products in my hair, except I also put the conditioner in my hair after the shower and leave it in as well as use it in the shower. It weighs the hair down, defines the curls, and conditions. It doesn't take a lot. I use a quarter size amounts in my hair and my hair is very long (down to my butt) and thick. You'll be very pleased.

This is the process I've been following for months now:

My hair used to be really prone to frizz...and I live in a humid place which doesn't help much. I now will only get frizz if I brush my hair when it's still damp.

I had the same problem as you and i found something that worked for me and hopefully will work for you. I use triple moisturizer shampoo and conditioner by neutrogena and always the anti frizz cream by them as well. it really works. my hair used to be so frizzy it was awful. my stylist recommended it and she also had me mix mousse and gel together together afterwards. my hair is smooth and i have no more frizzy hair. you should try it.

There are shampoos and conditioners made for people with curly hair. I used them myself and they cost the same as any other ordinary shampoo (about $1.50 per bottle).

There are also 'leave in' conditioners and mousses you can use if you have really really bad frizz.

i have the same problem. like for instance when u leave the house, it looks polished and flat(well not flat but u get my point) and then by the time u look in a mirror 2 hours later, it looks like it did when u got up!!(most likely). i use spritz and gel on my hair but i dont use much becuz if u do, it'll damage ur hair. but if u havent trie dthis yet, maybe u should give it a go! good luck!

i suggest going to the hair salon and asking a stylist what products you should be using. try a leave-in conditioner. a good one, not a cheapo one from walmart
