Several suggestions: Ibuprofen before your walk-bet a ace bandage and wrap your shin with it before your walk-check your shoes, if they're too old this could be the problem,. get some good padded tennis or walking shoes-try to not walk on the road, it's too hard, try to walk alongside the road on the dirt and grass. If none of these things work, you may need to take several days off and apply heat to it and rest it.

As for artwork you're on your individual. there is not any magical thank you to cause them to pass away different than Ibuprofen and relax. once you're no longer working ensure you get 8-10 hours sleep this could help the healing. Your physique heals itself at an identical time as you sleep and strong sleep is the main suitable answer. good success.

You have to slow your walking down. Once you are in this much pain you should probably back off of the usual routine. Biking, swimming, and the eliptical machine are all things you can do. In order to help prevent shin splints, do calf raises and leg presses; they build essential muscles that help support the shins.

You need to ice those shin splints for at least 15 minutes two to three times a day. You may need to get some better shoes too. I used to have this problem, but with the proper shoes and the ice, I was fine.

Warm up thoroughly before starting out. Warm up your shins specifically, by standing with your heels at the edge of a step, or curb and pointing your toes down. Hold for a few seconds and repeat.

I feel for ya !
Cut back on your distance and start doing other cardio exercises to keep your stamina up. If the shin splits get to bad you can do yourself a permanent damage so be careful.

Congratulations on your dedication!! You may want to make sure that you are stretching prior to and immediately after your walk. Stretching will help ease your pain as well as alternating ice/heat when you do get them. Best of luck to you!

You really need to see a doctor before you continue this walking program.
