For your Honda Accord car, when you turn the left stick-knob
just one time, the parking lights are on. If you turn it 2 times,
the headlights are switched on in the low dim postion.
However, to turn on for high beam, you then press once on the
stick-knob towards you.

you just turn two time on the left.. then to raise (hi beam)pull back on the lever you should see a lite come on near the speedometer somewhere; to be sure face car towards a wall .you can move the switch and see the effect( lite ) on the wall
2nd click will cause lites to go to the oppisite brightness

You really shouldn't be driving a car that you don't know how to use. Spend time getting to know all the inner workings before you get on the road.

pull your can up to a wall in the dark and turn it once and see what happens then turn it again if it gets bright then the second turn is the high beam

THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF CAR YOU HAVE.
