To think about losing this amount of weight you need to see a doctor first and get a clean bill of health. We need to have more info like your age/height/and current weight. Plus if you have any medical condition that will limit any cardiovascular activities. The easiest exercise to start off with is walking. Believe it or not, starting off with just one block, and walking a little further each day will start toning you up. Cut out all "fast food" and sugary foods. Once you limit your sugar intake you'll find you crave it less. Even if you lost 1 pound a week, that would be very good. To lose weight fast, such as the Atkins diet, is VERY dangerous for your health. Go slow, and it will stay off better. Cut out dairy and meat products if you can, and if you can't then cut down on those portions for those are the food items with the most grams of fat. Read McDougals Heart book, or John Robins Diet for America or The Food Revolution. Good luck!

Well study has shown that the best exercises is running. If you're exercising in the gym get on the tread meal and run with 2% slope or incline (this will avoid knee injuries). Remember you need to have good diet. Make sure you add .7 g of protein for every lbs of your weight. Try to add more muscle weight because for every lbs of muscle you burn an extra 50 Calories a day just for doing nothing. Carbohydrates are important just remember FAT BURNS IN THE FLAME OF CARBOHYDRATES. consume as mu as you need not more. Oh yeah fibers are good because they'll clean your dijestion system so you increase your metabolism.

You have to cut your daily caloric intake to about 2000 calories a day and calories from fat cannot exceed 30% of your total caloric intake. Which means less than 65 grams of fat. If you do this, you will lose 2 pounds a week and if you cut out salt, you will also lose any weight due to water retention (perhaps 10 pounds in the first week).
This is tough to do though. It requires a lot of will power on your part. Do not put anything into your mouth if you don't know how many calories it is and how much fat and salt are in it.

I weighed 210 in January and I weigh 140 now in October. I did the heart patient diet....some times people call it the cabbage soup diet. It is really easy, boosts your metabolism and gets you thinking about how you pair your foods together. I walk, and count my calories. I do not drink my calories, so I only drink straight water or unsweetened decaf tea. Worked for me! I would post the diet here, but I do not know if it is copywritten. If you cannot find it, e-mail me and I will send it to you. Always good to check with your doctor too when you are wanting to lose that much weight just to be sure it is safe for you.

DRINK at least 8 glasses of water a day. Consume less then 2000 calories a day. Don't eat candy or any sweets. Don't ever drink diet pop or even regular soda pop. Biking or mountain climbing are a good exercises.

There is a book called " The Abs Diet". It is bright orange, and it only costs about $30. If you really want to lose weight, get tone and healthy without any crazy diet hoaxes I recommend this book.
