i have natural curly hair and i want to get it cut into something cute. something that i don't have to gell or blowdry becuz i konw nothing about that stuff. all i do is keep it in a braid everyday. i would like to let down my curls but just doing that is a hastle becuz its long always in the way and puffy in some parts. i want a hairstyle or cut that is easy, great for headbanging and yea..any ideas. i looked in magazines n i didn't like any of them so ideas?

omg u should let ur hair the length of a couple inches pass your shoulder with it striaghten out. that is so sexy on girls. oh ya when girls have their hair pull back on the top that is so sexy too. it is hard to describe so i hope you know what i mean.

I've got naturally curly hair too, so when backpacking around Australia last year, I cut it off really, really short, meaning to grow it back. But everyone likes it so much, I've kept it. The curl gives it body naturally, so it's never horrible and flat against the head. I put gel on it when wet, then comb it flat and straight. After an hour it's dry, and I can achieve something I never dreamed I'd get - a spikey look! Once it's dry, you can just push it about a bit and it sticks up nicely.
So there you are: no blowdrying, easy, great for headbanging and if you put colour in it, (got a red streak at the moment) it doesn't hang a round for long.

with hair like yours, I believe there isnt a way you can get around not hairspraying or gelling...blowdry, etc. But for my opinion, I say go all out and get a bob! Theyre hot for this fall...and you can maintain easily with gel products or "Out of Bed" which is great! Just rub it in your palms and put it...in your hair!

I think you should try going very short. It is called an elfin or gamine cut, It works especially well with curly/wavey hair. A bit like Kylie Minogues' new do. It is also low maintainence.

i wouldnt advise layers wif curls unless there loose curls maybe some shorter bits at teh front have it cut shoulder length so its still got some weight and mouse so it dont go frizzy or anything maybe hav some highlights

the only advise i can give is use a soft mousse yes i know its still product but not as damaging as gel and such...just half a hand full, put it on your hair and pull fingers threw it. then you just leave it and it wont frizz if left lose
