Don't be so judgemental. It depends on the the two people. If you don't like older guys that is your choice, but I see nothing wrong with an older man hitting on a younger girl. If she is interested that's fine, if not he should leave her alone.

Holy cow,and you're 21? That's scary, apparently in a year I will become more shallow and a tad bit dumber than I was (I turn 21 in a year). I don't think there is anything wrong w/a 28 y/o hitting on a 21 y/o, attraction is attraction. I personally haven't dated someone 7 yrs older than me, but I would never reject a guy based on his age! Grow up sweetheart,good men/people come in different ages too.

It's only a seven year difference! If he was, like, 40, that would be gross. But seven years? No big deal!!! And, yes, it's fine to have a *preference* for someone your age and not a 28 year old. You not being attracted to a 28 year old is no different than you preferring one hair color over another. There's a difference between "gross", and having a preference. Just enjoy being hit on, because one of these days, you'd love to have a 28 year old hit on you!!!

There's nothing gross about that! I'm 20 with a 29 year old boyfriend. I could see if maybe he was an old 28, acted old and looked old, that would definitely be considered unattractive. But his age alone shouldn't be a turn-off.

Age is just a number, missy, it doesn't have anything to do with maturity. He could be your soulmate, and you just blew him off (and not in the good way) because he's "old and gross".

you're an adult. There are women your age who have two babies. He is 7 years older than you. Seven years is nothing. My parents are 7 years apart, when they met, mom was 19, dad was 26.

Did he know your age? I am 40 now and have dated women 10 years older than myself. Especially when I was in my twenties. Almost all of them were older. Loved it.

Apparently you must have been locked up your whole life.. i have guys hit on me and they are twice my age.. i don't find it gross, you just can't let it get to you.. Yeah sometimes it is bad but if you just let it go then it won't bother you as much
